This Privacy Policy explains what information Dofus Builds ("we", "us", the "Site") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. Dofus Builds is a free, fan-made build calculator for the game Dofus 3. By using the Site you agree to this policy.

1. Who we are

Dofus Builds is an independent, non-commercial fan project. For any privacy question or request, contact us at admin@dofusbuilds.com.

2. Information we collect

• Account data — if you create an account, we store your email address. If you sign in with Google or Discord, we receive basic profile information from that provider (such as your email and account identifier) so we can create and identify your account.
• Builds you save — if you save a build to the cloud, the build configuration (equipped items, stats, etc.) is stored under your account. Builds you choose to make public may be displayed to other users.
• Local data on your device — preferences and app state (language, dark mode, your current build, level, etc.) are stored in your browser's local storage. This data stays on your device and is not sent to us unless you save a build.
• Technical data — like any website, our hosting and backend providers automatically process your IP address and basic request information for security, abuse prevention, and to operate the Site.

3. What we do not do

We do not use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies, we do not build advertising profiles, and we do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone.

4. Cookies & local storage

We do not set tracking cookies. We use your browser's local storage for functional purposes (remembering your preferences and your current build). When you log in, your sign-in session is also kept locally on your device so you stay logged in. These are strictly necessary for the Site to work and you can clear them at any time through your browser settings.

5. Service providers

We rely on trusted third parties to run the Site. They process data only as needed to provide their service:

• Hosting & content delivery — serving and protecting the Site.
• Database & authentication — managing accounts and saved builds.
• Social login providers — only if you choose to sign in with an external provider.
• Static asset delivery (CDNs) — libraries and icons.
• Game data API — item and set data. We send no personal data to it.

6. Legal basis (GDPR)

Where the GDPR applies, we process your data based on: your consent (when you create an account), the performance of a contract (providing the build features you request), and our legitimate interest in keeping the Site secure and operational.

7. Data retention

Account data and saved builds are kept while your account exists. If you delete your account or ask us to remove your data, we delete it from our active systems, except where we must keep limited records for legal or security reasons.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live (e.g. under the GDPR in the EU or the LGPD in Brazil), you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, email admin@dofusbuilds.com. You can also delete your account directly from your account settings.

9. International transfers

Our providers operate globally, so your data may be processed in countries other than your own. We rely on these providers' safeguards for such transfers.

10. Children

The Site is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version. Significant changes will be reflected on this page.
